City of Flatonia Parks

The City of Flatonia maintains a robust parks system that encompasses different geographical areas of the city.  The parks system consists of the following parks:
  1. Central Memorial Park
  2. Garbade Park
  3. 7-Acre Park
  4. McWhirter Park
  5. Flatonia Rail Park
  6. Flato Park (new and undeveloped at this time)

 

Park Hours
  • Monday through Friday:
    • 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM when school is in session
    • 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM when school is not in session
  • Saturday and Sunday:
    • 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Park Rentals

City of Flatonia Pool & Amenities Rental
  • The pavilion at McWhirter Park and the gazebos at City Hall, Central Park, and McWhirter Park are available to rent year round.
  • The pool may be rented for special events in the evenings only during the summer season.
  • The splashpad is not available to rent, and is open from dawn to dusk most of the year.
  • When an amenity is not rented, it is available to all.
