Boards, Committees, Commissions & Corporations

The City of Flatonia has several Boards and Committees comprised of interested citizens volunteering their time for the benefit of the community. Serving on a Board gives citizens the opportunity to share opinions, goals, and their talents.

All meetings of City Committees etc. are open to the public unless closed under executive session in accordance with law. The public is welcome to attend and a calendar on this City's website homepage indicating the dates and times.

Board Members are typically chosen by the Mayor and confirmed by vote of the City Council. The Flatonia Economic Development Corporation makes a recommendation for replacement members as needed and the appointment is confirmed by the City Council.

Additional information related to each Board is available below.
Citizens interested in serving may email the City Secretary to advise the Mayor.
